Ag, where do I start? Jennie was such a chommie, she sorted me out with relief cream for my stiff neck! Brekkie was a real lekker spread, and the room? So peaceful, I slept like a log. We loved the walk down to the beach too, stunning scenery!

Just a bit remote if you’re looking for shops, but that was fine by us.

The homemade breakfast specialties were a delightful surprise.

Though lovely, the location felt quite remote and isolated. It was challenging to find nearby services or dining options after a long day of exploring. I genuinely wished for more local amenities to enhance our visit.

tarrel farmhouse is such a lovely place! the room was super comfy and had an amazin view of the fields and sea. breakfast was seriously good, with loads of choices, and they had this epic home-made pastries that were to die for! the staff were chill and really friendly. The walk to the beach was beautifull and relaxing. if ur lookin for a remote getaway, this is it!

however, it's pretty remote, so dont expect to find shops nearby. also, wish we could've stayed longer!

I had an amazing stay with stunning views from my airy room and the best dinner ever with local ingredients! Just wish there were more amenities nearby.

the stay was alright, although I certainly expected more—like maybe a room upgrade for my two nights. also, it's quite remote, don’t expect to be close to shops. breakfast was decent, but who knew that would be the highlight? I almost thought of leaving a good review, but just couldn’t.

Our recent stay was absolutely breathtaking! The incredible views from our room were complemented by the stylish interior and the superb meals prepared by Jennie. The lobster dinner was a highlight and breakfast had so many delicious options that we couldn’t get enough. We can't wait to come back! If only our stay could have been longer.

What a splendid experience at Tarrel Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast! The breathtaking views from our Deluxe King Room and the immaculate decor created a heavenly ambiance. Breakfast was a delightful feast. I must rave about the home-made pastries that nearly stole the show.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but you’re paying for quality, right?

The stunning views from our room over the barley fields and ocean were breathtaking! The warm hospitality made our stay memorable, and the relaxing lounge area was perfect for unwinding.

The only downside was the remote location, limiting nearby dining options.

It was just a balanced option for a transient stop in Portmahomack with great value-to-price ratio. The homemade breakfast was surprisingly delightful and kept us fueled for the day. Make sure to enjoy the peaceful walks around the area while you’re there.
